AutoVLB helps retailers manage costs

Use AutoVLB to optimize purchase orders to fill up the truck while staying within inventory constrains.  

  Results of a Pilot:

• Truck Optimization data was captured and reviewed for 5 months
• Gross weight per truck & total number of trucks were compared against baselines
• Value and Return on Investment was proven
• Increased gross weight per shipment 6.2%
• Reduced 161 trucks
• Improved utilization between 4%-8%
• Pilot period led to significant freight savings of over $200,000

Pilot confirmed projected annual savings and is now  fully deployed eliminating hundreds of trucks, their associated pollution and cost.  

More importantly  inventory levels remained consistent with targets DOS
